AT ALBION:

Here at Albion, I'm just starting to get involved in all the activities they have to offer.  Last year, my choral scholarship got me involved in the music department.  Through this, I was introduced to a student led and organized group called the Euphonics.  After auditioning in spring of 2005, I am enthusiastically working through my second semester in the group.

This past fall, I struggled with a decision; should I or shouldn't I join a sorority?  I was skeptical and battled with the idea as all around me, I watched Greek life expand.  Finally, after attending recruitment events, I knew the answer to my question.  Alpha Xi Delta wasn't just a sorority, but it was a group of girls who I knew I needed to get to know.  I was initiated in November of 2005, and since then, the organization has helped me grow in countless ways, instilling a confidence I never knew I had.

Through my sorority, I became more involved in the community of Albion.  Our group philanthropy is Choose Children, through which we work raise funds and give back to the Albion community schools.  To further what I can do for this community, in the last two months, I have begun mentoring a second grader at local Harrington Elementary School.

In High School

At Roscommon High School, home of the mighty bucks, I was interested in everything.  I couldn't have packed more into four years and I believe that being involved is what made high school mean so much to me.

Basics About Me

I was born on May 20th, 1986 to Dennis and Jane Carroll and since then, have lived in the Higgins Lake area of Michigan my entire life.  I grew up in a happy childhood in a closely knit family.  My two older brothers, Eric 26 and Alex 24, serve as my best friends and confidants.   After I finish my education, all three of us plan on developing and running our own movie production company.
